Security & A.E.G.I.S

Malware scanning, automod, honeypots, and the cross-server blacklist.

A.E.G.I.S is the security operation center inside USA Core. It protects servers from malicious mods, raider bots, and repeat scammers.

What it detects

  • Discord token stealers and keyloggers packed inside .lua, .luac, .cs, .asi, .dll mod files
  • Known malware patterns from the community hash database (/malwaredb)
  • Spam floods, invite links, and banned words through automod
  • Raid attempts through honeypot channels

The scan flow

A member uploads a mod file (or uses /scan directly on one).
The file is checked against the malware hash database and heuristic patterns: string obfuscation, URL callbacks, token-grabber signatures.
Clean files pass silently. Flagged files trigger an alert in your security log channel with the reason attached.
Repeat offenders end up on the cross-server blacklist.

Turning it on

  1. /autoscan (Admin): enable auto-scan so every uploaded file is checked without anyone asking.
  2. /setup-logs (Admin): pick the channels per log type.
  3. /automod (Admin): configure spam rules, link filters, and punishment levels.
  4. /setup-crashlog (Owner): give crash logs a home; members paste crash addresses and the analyzer names the faulty mod.

Honeypots

A honeypot is a bait channel: raid bots that post in it get flagged and punished instantly, while real members never see it. Set one up inside /automod.

Cross-server blacklist

Accounts proven to scam or raid are recorded globally. When they join a partner server running USA Core, they are already on the watchlist. Owners manage entries with /blacklist.

Why it works

One server catches a scammer once: every USA Core server gets the warning. The database grows with the community.
